What is a home inspection?

A home inspection is done by a qualified home inspector.  They will spend 3 to 4 hours going through the home top to bottom. 

When the inspection is complete you will get a report that tells you the condition of everything in the home accompanied by pictures of almost everything.  

The home inspector will evaluate the condition of:

A home inspections will typically cost $400 to $600, depending on the size of the house.

As the homebuyer, you’ll want to hire the home inspector.  This way you can be sure that the inspection is done by a reputable inspector with great reviews.
